Through this reality contest, he will be selecting lead actors from across the state.
“I had introduced many stars in the past but the talent search was not done in large scale. Most of the actors introduced to screen come from an established filmy people or wealthy families settled in Hyderabad. Through this talent hunt, we are going deep pockets of our state. In Hyderabad, Warangal, Vizag and Vijayawada, we are conducting reality Talent Hunt shows,” Teja informed the media.
“I have also taken support of corporate companies such as Kingfisher, Common Colors, Maa TV, Radio Mirchi and apart from them Suresh Babu is helping us. I also thank Tammareddy Bharadwaja, president of Andhra Pradesh Film Producer’s Council, extending his full support officially. I wish every talented artiste in our state utilize this,” he added.
Producer Suresh Babu said that through this ‘Superstar’ contest only lead actors will be chosen. “But other actors from all age groups will also be considered for other roles and they will also be short listed for proposed talent bank, “ he added.
Tammareddy Bharadwaja assured that they would give all the support for the artistes who come from various regions. “You need not to fear for any malicious incidents. We assure you for everything. And the best part is that this entire talent show is televised in Maa TV,” Tammareddy gave promise
Arun of Common Colors Entertainment Ltd added that the selected candidates will be groomed for some weeks. “We will also conduct this talent hunt regularly every year,” he said.
Sharat Marar, COO, Maa TV, thanked director Teja and producer Suresh Babu for extending their support for this talent search. “The crowning glory is Suresh Babu joining in this and Tammareddy extending support officially,” Sharat said.
Superstar Contest details
Two male lead actors and one female lead will be selected.
The participants for “Superstar contest” should be in the age of 18 to 25 years.
The winners are guaranteed of the lead roles in Teja’s next movie.
To participate in this contest, applicants should send 2 photographs along with Name, contact details with age.
